Yves has lived in Marseilles, France for most of his life and knows it well. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Yves while he was visiting Istanbul last August, though. We met through Spyros Papaspyropoulos and StreetHunters.net when they came to Istanbul for a filming of their Street Hunt series.
It was great meeting him and talking about photography. He’s not only an amazing photographer himself, but he’s also very interested in learning about and looking at other amazing work from photographers around the world.
Eolo Perfido has lived around the world, but for much of his life, including now, the city of Rome has been his home. He has worked with some of the greats in photography, including Elliot Erwitt and Steve McCurry, and while his career focuses on advertising and portrait photography, Street Photography has become a big passion of his as well.

Gabi was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and never left. You can experience so much of the city just by looking through Gabi’s work. He captures the life of Tel Aviv in a way that would make anyone want to visit.
Akkara Naktamna was born in Bangkok, Thailand and brings out a unique side of the city through his photographs. While Bangkok is a chaotic city, he finds moments within all that chaos that normally might go unnoticed.

Enrico was born in Linz, the third largest city in Austria. While he currently still lives in Linz, he has also lived in Salzburg and enjoys spending time shooting the streets of Vienna. So it’s safe to say, he has plenty of experience photographing life in Austria.
Charalampos, who goes by the name Dirty Harrry in the photography world, was born in Heraklion and raised in Rethymno, both cities on the Greek island of Crete. I’ve admired his work for years now and he possesses a very unique and creative vision when it comes to photography.
I’m excited to announce a new series I will be working on here at Shooter Files that will cover Street Photographers and their Cities. The series will showcase great Street Photographers based in different cities around the world, with a focus on Street Photography in their own backyard from their individual perspectives. No one knows their own cities in the same way as a Street Photographer that lives and breathes its streets daily.

I’m looking forward to this series as it should bring a nice mix of showcasing individual talent and street photography along with giving unique and knowledgeable perspectives on cities across the world. From the eyes of Street Photographers.
