After finishing my last leg of India, I flew to Dhaka, Bangladesh, major city #51 on the project. Dhaka is the densest, fastest growing city in the world, with world leading traffic to match. Working against the congested traffic, city layout and other troubles can bring some challenges, but within all that chaos, is a friendly city full of life. Filled with chaotic streets, markets, old world atmosphere, history, spirituality, and energy, you won’t get bored in Dhaka. Along with all that, though, it brought the most welcoming experience and passionate photography community to date.

Wow. I am always impressed that you are able to capture 33 great images in such a relatively short period of time, but this is one of your best collections I think. This city seems tailor made for your style with all the color and density of people. Dhaka is a place I want to visit but I need to find a way to go without my wife – it doesn’t seem to have any traditional tourist sites but is instead a street photographers paradise.
Hey, Jeff. Dhaka isn’t the easiest city for visiting yet and might not be the best for tourism, but it’s worth experiencing. Thanks for the complement on the photos!
